The Genesis Cooperative Float in the
Vankleek Hill Christmas Parade 

November 28th, 2025

It was a chilly, yet fun filled evening participating in the Champlain Christmas parade in  Vankleek Hill. Many thanks to our 26 participants who sang, walked and spread the word, all while promoting our upcoming Living Nativity at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds Saturday December 13th, 2025

Fraud: Recognition and Prevention
October 16th, 2025

The Genesis Cooperative Outreach committee held their 2nd talk in their speakers series, with Jim Lindsay. He is a retired police office from Kingston who help informed the audience about fraud, and how to recognize it for ourselves as well as with the elderly. MAiD - what it is, and what it isn't
September 11th, 2025

The Genesis Cooperative Outreach Committee hosted the first in the  speakers series with guest speaker Dr Christy Simpson. She gave a very eloquent and compassionate talk about MAiD and how it works in Canada. There were over 80 participants who listened intently to the presentation, which was followed by a light lunch, and then a very insightful discussion.

 Joint Service at Trinity United in Vankleek Hill

What a great turnout for our first service in September. The joint congregations welcomed Brian's return from his summer abroad. We were treated to the debut performance of the joint choir, lead by their new choir director Caroline Cook.

Joint Service and BBQ at Cassburn United
August 31st, 2025

We had a record number turn out to the annual  joint campfire service and BBQ at Cassburn United. The evening started off with a BBQ and corn roast, topped off with many homemade desserts. The worship service was creatively lead by Valerie Allen, followed by music by Norm Campeau from Grenville.
Perfect weather for a BBQ and outdoor service!
Many thanks to our friendly volunteers who helped put on a wonderful BBQ meal!
Even the sheep wanted to join our fellowship
One is never to old to enjoy a toasted marshmallow or smore!

Genesis Cooperative Community Progressive Service 
All three churches participated in a progressive service, starting at Kirk Hill United, then onto Trinity United, followed by Cassburn United, ending in a wonderful luncheon and fellowship with all our congregations.
