Christmas came to life at Pendleton United Church. Deborah Suddard lead our service of stories and hymns. She filled the church with her knit animals and people. The characters were moved as the Christmas story was being told.
You can see the shepherds, the angel and Mary and Joseph.

The wise ones are ready to bring their gifts after the birth is announced. They will arrive on January 8th, 2023

The interactive service was enjoyed by all.

On Sunday October 3, 2021 at Pendleton United Church , Valerie Allen dedicated our Hate Has No Home Here sign in front yard of the church. This sign will address divisiveness and inequality. This colourful sign features six flags held by six hands in six different skin tones.
Included is the bright sign in the orange Every Child Matters flag,
representing the Canadian children who perished in residential schools. Also included is the Black Lives Matter flag, a blue flag representing the rights of the disabled, another multi-hued flag showcasing the LGBTQ community, a white flag highlighting religious freedom and of great importance the flag that represents the country we are so proud of - Canada.
Shown are Valerie Allen ( left ), who gave the closing words to mention how pulling the community together will provide love to all, and Dianne Seguin( right ), our Genesis Rep who was instrumental in obtaining the sign.
