Genesis Keeps Growing
The Genesis Cooperative Community of The United Church of Canada (consisting of Cassburn United Church, Kirk Hill United Church, Pendleton United Church and Trinity (Vankleek Hill) United Church) has been a collaborative ministry with four communities of faith for over a decade.
Here is the latest update!
"We are trying something new here at Genesis for 2019. We are going to have a one-year trial bringing three more churches into the Genesis fold: three congregations south of us in Eastern Ontario.
It’s exciting and frightening all at the same time! It’s on a five week rotation, running the cooperative with Licensed Lay Worship Leaders. The three congregations that will be coming into Genesis on a one-year trial basis are:
All of our worship leaders that come to us are from the Seaway Valley Presbytery (soon to be Region 12). All have been licensed so that they are fully Licensed Lay Worship Leaders. We are equipped, but we sure could use more Licensed Lay Worship Leaders." - Phyllis Dietrich, Genesis

- Alexandria (Church on the Hill), in Alexandria, ON
- Dalhousie Mills (The Round Church), in Dalhousie Mills, ON
- East Hawkesbury United Church, in Ste. Anne de Prescott.
